Where you least expect it... be awesome!
A note to wish you all a beautiful day seems like a pretty good excuse to write a blog to me! Enjoy it
With love and awesome,
Had the pleasure of collaborating with Drone on a live painting that was auctioned off at the Inventertainment event this past weekend! The whole night was a bumpin showcase of poetry, hip hop, comedy, beat-boxin, record spinnin' and so much more awesome. Had myself a blast running the merch table too and sharing what we do in our spare time... make buttons, friendship bracelets, and more art of course!
Thanks to all who came out to support local performance art!
We do we do!
Send us your awesome, we put it on a button.

Was watching the movie 'Her' the other night and this quote has stayed with me since. Adorned inside me like my new personal amulet. A chosen crystal that had an answer I didn't even know I was looking for, but it found me anyway.
Why do we retell ourselves the stories that were less than awesome? Tales of times we messed up, were embarrassed, ashamed, at fault or just straight up wish we had done something differently? We may replay these same stories over and over and over throughout any given day, week, month or even longer! Often we still recall the stories of hard times throughout our childhood and adolescence, dwelling on decisions that can't be made differently now and still taking it out on ourselves every single time we relive it.
But the past becomes just a story we tell ourselves.
Which empowered me to realize that I have every choice to decide what stories I want to hear, how frequently I want to tell them, and to whom I want to share. You are the story teller! You are in control and have the power to tell yourself the happy parts and to not be so hard on yourself. It has totally opened up my belly receptors to good feelings and a sense of power over my own past, my own stories and how the more focus I put on reliving the hard times, the less I forgive myself and forget to be human. And forget to be awesome. If the past is just a story then I'm gonna tell it real good.
